Link your PayPal account with stc pay to withdraw your PayPal balance into your wallet or top-up your PayPal account quickly— all within the app.

The stc pay × PayPal Transfers service allows verified customers to securely link their PayPal account within the stc pay app and move funds in both directions. Users can withdraw their available USD PayPal balance directly into their stc pay wallet in BHD, or top-up their PayPal account using their stc pay wallet balance. 

This service simplifies cross-border payments, online shopping, digital earnings access, and global financial flexibility. 

How to use – Linking ​

  1. Log in to the stc pay app.
  2. Go to the PayPal tab.
  3. Select “Link Account.”
  4. Enter your primary PayPal email.
  5. Log in to PayPal and authorize access.
  6. Accept Terms & Conditions.
  7. Receive confirmation once linked.

How to Withdraw (PayPal → stc pay)​

  1. Open PayPal tab in stc pay app.
  2. Select “Withdraw from PayPal.”
  3. View available USD balance.
  4. Enter withdrawal amount.
  5. Review & confirm your request.

How to Top-Up (stc pay → PayPal) ​

  1. Open PayPal tab in stc pay app.
  2. Select “Top-Up PayPal.”
  3. Enter amount to transfer from stc pay wallet.
  4. Review & confirm your request.
  5. Funds reflect in PayPal balance.

Good to know

 

  • Both accounts must be under the same name.
  • Only verified Bahrain PayPal accounts are supported.
  • PayPal balances are processed in USD.
  • stc pay wallet receives funds in BHD.
  • Currency conversion applies when required.
  • Most transactions are instant; some may take up to 5 business days.
  • Transactions cannot be cancelled or reversed once confirmed.
  • Users must resolve any PayPal account limitations directly with PayPal.
  • Business days exclude Bahrain & U.S. weekends and public holidays.

The stc pay × PayPal service allows you to link your PayPal account with your stc pay wallet and transfer funds between both accounts.
You can:

  • Withdraw funds from PayPal into your stc pay wallet, or
  • Top-up your PayPal account using your stc pay wallet balance.

To use the service, you must:

  • Have a verified stc pay account, and

  • Have an active and verified PayPal account

Both accounts must be registered under the same

You can sign up by visiting www.paypal.com and following the registration steps.
You must confirm your email address to complete setup. Adding a debit or credit card is optional at sign-up.

To link your accounts:

  1. Log in to the stc pay app

  2. Go to the [PayPal] tab

  3. Select Link Account

  4. Sign in using your PayPal email and password

  5. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions

You will receive a confirmation once linking is successful

To withdraw funds:

  1. Log in to the stc pay app

  2. Go to the [PayPal] tab

  3. Select Withdraw from PayPal

  4. View your available PayPal balance (USD)

  5. Enter the withdrawal amount

  6. Review fees and exchange rate

  7. Confirm the transaction

You will receive a confirmation notification with a transaction reference number.

To add funds to PayPal:

  1. Log in to the stc pay app

  2. Go to the [PayPal] tab

  3. Select Top-Up PayPal

  4. Enter the amount to transfer

  5. Review fees and exchange rate (if applicable)

  6. Confirm the transaction

You will receive a confirmation once completed

Yes. You can unlink your account at any time:

  1. Go to the [PayPal] tab

  2. Select Unlink Account

  3. Confirm

You will receive confirmation once unlinked.

No. This service only supports transfers between your own linked stc pay and PayPal accounts.
Transfers to other individuals are not supported.

For withdrawals:

  • A PayPal withdrawal (PAL) fee of 3% + USD 3 applies per transaction.

  • Foreign exchange (FX) conversion charges apply.

Top-up transactions may also be subject to applicable fees and FX charges.

All fees and exchange rates are displayed before you confirm the transaction.

  • PayPal transactions are processed in USD.

  • Your stc pay wallet receives funds in BHD.

If your PayPal balance is in another currency, you must convert it to USD within PayPal before withdrawing.
