Definitions
In these terms, “portal” means the stc pay Business Portal; “services” means the business accounts, cards, transfers, payroll, bill payments, and related features; and “you” means the business and its authorised users.
Eligibility
The services are available to registered businesses in Bahrain that complete onboarding and meet our verification requirements. You confirm that you are authorised to act on behalf of your business.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during onboarding and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Keep your business and contact details current.
- Protect your login credentials and do not share them.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Use of Services
You agree to use the services only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You must not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the portal.
Payment Terms
Fees, limits, and charges applicable to the services are disclosed during onboarding and within the portal. You authorise us to debit applicable fees from your business account in accordance with the disclosed schedule.
Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and materials available through the portal are owned by or licensed to stc pay and are protected by applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the portal for your business.
Data Privacy
We process personal and business information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. By using the services, you consent to such processing.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the services where required by law, where these terms are breached, or to protect the security of the portal. You may close your account in accordance with the portal procedures.
Data Retention
We retain records and transaction data for the periods required by applicable laws and our regulatory obligations, even after an account is closed.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, stc pay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold stc pay harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the services or your breach of these terms.
Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the portal, and continued use of the services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts.
